It's technically a 1 year deal with the 2nd year being a team option for Gordon, so it doesn't really bug me that much. I doubt he takes minutes away from the likes of Oladipo, Payton, Fournier.

boozer amnestied, patty mills re-signed with the spurs 3x4 [great deal, i was expecting him to get stupid overpaid], and kyle lowry back to the raps 4x12. and okc is supposedly leading on pau gasol.

so the lakers offered melo the max, and said if they get melo, theyre gonna bring in gasol to play with him.

however on the flip side, melo supposedly called up gasol, about the two teaming up to play with the knicks... not the lakers. if melo takes the max from us however, we can only give gasol about 3 mil a year. i was actually resigned to the fact that we werent re-signing melo... but now it looks like we might.

oh by the way, the summer league starts on saturday. our first look at the rookies playing against other rookies and d-leaguers, but i still have no life and will probably watch and tape a bunch of games.

chris kaman 2 yrs, 10 mil to the blazers. i know hes constantly hurt... but thats such a huge bench signing for them, you can never have enough decent bigs. and he'll only have to play 15-20 mpg barring foul trouble for aldridge or lopez. like this signing a lot for them.

and the knicks officially offered melo the 5 yrs, 129 mil max that i wasnt sure whether they would or not. its looking like the bulls wanna bring mirotic over, and then give melo the max in a sign and trade for carlos boozer. if im the knicks i tell them to go fuck themselves, unless theyre including butler or gibson. this time last week, i thought it was a guarantee hed be a bull... as of right now, im fairly certain he'll be back. hes supposedly gonna make his intentions known tomorrow or sunday.

hes a good passer when he chooses to do so, he just rarely does. and hes arguably the best rebounding sf in the game.
