They still need a big. KG is another year older and Bass is a chunky "stretch" four. Jujuan Johnson is a soft stretch four. They need a banger to give minutes. Perhaps that's a round 2 guy if they have such a pick.
yea i saw that. but so did lance thomas, so that doesnt really illustrate much.

That was even more random. But that training team isn't too shabby.. Irving, Cousins, George, Wall, Gibson, Lin, Hayward, etc. A lot of guys who will want to prove themselves against the top echelon of stars, and of course Cousins and Stiemsma could kill people with their elbows.

the night nba tv shows the monte carlo scrimmage of the 92 dream team, theyre also gonna show footage of the one loss they had... to a team of college players led by bobby hurley, chris webber and penny hardaway. i imagine that team was put together, much in the way of the irving, cousins, STIEMSMA 3 headed monster team youre talking about there. i already had it taping, but now this is more of a reason.

irving, wall, george, cousins, stiemsma vs. paul, kobe, durant, lebron, chandler (?)

Cousins starts off by putting LeBron through two tables, while Stiemsma takes out Kobe's other knee with a chair. Good thing they'll be closer to Germany than usual.

ill digest this more when i get home from work but...

harrison barnes and thomas robinson were #1 and #2 in the 3/4 court sprint. and meyers leonard threw up 19 reps at 185... definite lottery pick. looks like andy drummond boosted up his vert some, but his numbers are still pretty nice at that size.

i realize its mj drafting... but if these numbers dont solidify harry barnes as the number 2 pick, i dont know what will. even i, after watching the combine, was starting to waiver and think about drummond there... but barnes had to have answered all the "hes not athletic enough" questions. barnes was a guy i was sold on... robinson wasnt, but his numbers look pretty good too. still, his height and vert... can he really play the 4? looks fast enough to be a 3 though perhaps, and looks like he'll be strong enough to play the 4. think hes a man between positions still.

Stern made a great point a while back, if the NBA was rigged than the Spurs would have never won any titles.

2012 NBA draft -- Docs medically red flag Jared Sullinger, sources say - ESPN

Didn't they do this with Darrell Arthur? And then he fell late in the first round to Memphis' lap and became a good rotation player. /eyeroll

and dejuan blair. im sure everyones heard about blairs lack of acls 8 zillion times.

i dont see why sullinger shouldnt be able to score and rebound in the pros. hes got moves around the basket, and he can create space for himself.

Re: 2012 NBA Playoff and Draft Talk

I love that I've seen him labeled as the most unathletic guy at the combine. That's great for the ego.

Paul Millsap. That's all I'm saying. Great college guy, undersized, written off...he's good. Obviously not a lot of hype compared to Sullinger but he went to a small school. He did, however, own the glass in college. I don't care that it's college, this says something:
He is the only player in NCAA basketball history to lead the nation in rebounding for three consecutive years.

one of the best post/interior scorers and rebounders of the last 15 years, i dont think ive ever seen him dunk the ball. or have a higher vert than me. that being zach randolph.

I don't think I've seen him jump. Same with Andre Miller. I swear if their feet leave the ground, it'll be a miracle.

To a lesser degree, Brandon Bass. Quality role player, very undersized PF..still manages. Precedent is set, I think they should stop holding Sullinger's under the rim style against him. And Robinson's short of size expectations against him.
