Dennis Mannion named new Detroit Pistons president of business operations - ESPN

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- The Detroit Pistons have picked Dennis Mannion as their new president of business operations.

The team announced the hiring Tuesday and said Joe Dumars will remain the president of basketball operations.

Mannion was fired as president of Los Angeles Dodgers by team owner Frank McCourt nearly a year ago.

Sorry, but I can't get over the time he tried to play down the McCourt divorce's impact on the Dodgers' offseason by suggesting that the team's money could be better spent on "portable concession stands" than on players. Fucking asshole.
