agreed and disagreed. dirk caught that ball at the 3 point line, to be that far off instantly on the pass, is inexcusable. dirk took two dribbles tops, and dished off to jet. westbrook has to wait and contain himself and either a. let dirk take the jumper from the step inside the 3 line... or b. make him dribble, to within 7-9 feet of the basket, then collapse. it doesnt really matter either way honestly, since the game was 7 or so at that point anyway [shows my memory, it happened 3 minutes ago]... but yea.
plus lets be honest... coverage on dirk was pretty fantastic. ibaka really did a nice job on him, its just that dirk was unconscious. ibaka continued to go straight up, and do what he could do without fouling him, since he showed what was gonna happen while fouling him. ibaka was in his face, and dirk would just stutter step once or twice, and his release is so high and beautiful, it was just too high for ibakas reach.
