Where will the Orioles finish in 2011?

They had an active off season. On paper, they improved their offense, even if they may have looked the other way in regards to defense (although it shouldn't be too bad right?)

If Hardy, Lee, and Reynolds bounce back, Guerrero shows he still has life in the bat, and Jones, Markakis, and Wieters take another positive step.. they could have a potent lineup. They also have a young rotation with Arrieta, Tillman, and hyped talent Brian Matusz. In addition, they added Justin Duchscherer to complete the staff. The biggest question mark will likely be the pen, after a forgettable 2010 for Mike Gonzalez and Alfredo Simon being locked up, plus Kevin Gregg with the early closer tag.. who knows.

I think the O's finish last yet again. The lineup is definitely improved and Showalter did a great job after taking over but that rotation is not very good. I think Uehara will be closing instead of Gregg. The O's will improve but not in the standings. I still see the Jays being the better team.

4th... around the .500 mark... and with the Screw Jays dropping to last, by a pretty good margin (12-15 games)

But much improved on offense.. unfortunately, I expect us in the bottom 3 in ERA for the AL and bottom 5 in all of MLB (again)

They may be improving, especially with there young pitching. It still won't be enough to overtake any team in the mighty A.L. East.

I really thought this club was going to be the club that moved up to at least 4th at the beginning of the season. The pitching woes certainly did not help and Roberts being out almost all season hasn't been good. So what does this mean another high draft pick and 5th place in the division.
