Orioles Make Guerrero An Offer: MLB Rumors - MLBTradeRumors.com
$2 million after the year Vlad just had? That is honestly an insult. He finished 11th in the MVP voting last year for heaven's sake. He's not really a good fit for Baltimore but he's also not a good fit anywhere else. Cleveland might want to take a flyer on him just so they could move him midseason. Seattle could be another possibility if they release Milton Bradley.
Why not Vlad Guerrero for the Dodgers? Hell, his fielding can't be any worse than that of Thames and Gibbons.
Very true

My bad, I mean from an offense standpoint.

Or from the starting rotation either. That looks like a group of guys who will be lucky to put up a 5 ERA, likely closer to 6. They get Kevin Millwood yet?
The lineup is definitely going to be more potent.
Roberts
Jones
Markakis
Vlad
Scott
Lee
Weiters
Reynolds
Hardy
The bullpen should be ok with a healthy Mike Gonzalez at some point and the additions of Gregg and Accardo. Simon shooting people definitely didn't help matters. Uehara is still there though so the bullpen doesn't look that bad.
As far as the rotation, Guthrie and Matusz and Tillman, Arrieta and Bergeson should improve some. The rotation is definitely the weakest spot on this team but with an improved offense, the starters should keep them in ballgames at least. All in all this team is much improved over last year and with Buck at the helm, they should give the AL East some tougher competition.
I am seeing them in ST in their new digs, might be close to their "real" lineup by the time zi see them, could be interesting. Geez, they were tough enough before.
It's not the bullpen that worries me... but the rotation... Guthrie as a #1 is not going to cut it, and the rest of the rotation is a prayer at best.... The bullpen should be solid, at least middle of the road... and I expect the offense to be top 5 in the AL for whatever gut reason.... but our rotation is going to be lit up
