"mark forum read"

sometimes when I select this option, it doesn't work...anyone else have that happen?

I use it all the time in the old site and it always worked fine. Never tried it here yet though.

it still only works sometimes here for me...for example I was in the first forum (baseball news or whatever) and there were 4 threads I hadn't read, I only read one and then marked it read and it still said there were new ones...I went back and clicked the others and then marked it read and it worked...I didn't have to do that on the last board, you could mark the forum read without having to actually read every new thread

edit: I'm referring to on individual forums, if I click the mark forums read on the bottom of the page it always works.

It's pretty odd how it works for all forums, but only for one it does not. I'll try to look into it.

any word on this because it is still a problem for me...I have to read every single new thread in a forum before it actually will mark it read when I click mark this forum read. As I said, the only one that works is the one at the very bottom that says mark all forums read...it's not a big deal, it's just annoying me is all

I was going to say that. If I click on it for the entire forum it works like a charm. But if I try to mark only one forum "as read" it'll do it, but then when I come back to the site later it's back to being marked as unread.

Also, when I click on every thread with new posts in a forum (ie "read" them) they're no longer highlighted, yet when I go to the main page (with all the forum links) that forum is still listed colored until I click on the main "mark forums as read" thing.
