We should cut down on vienna sausage while we're at it.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

I'm thinking he doesn't like threads being started where all you see is a link to the article it references.

Yeah that's exactly it. We all ought to post the entire article, not some stupid link. Who cares about the link? Cuba? Delaware? Kodiak, Alaska? Cmon seriously!
Considering posting the entire article is supposedly illegal, at least without the right citations, and then I'm not sure.

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.
I can attest that wheneven I post a link, it doesn't get read. How do I know?
I can tell by the responses that the people doing the responding haven't read the article.
I also don't read articles most of the time....I think a small blurb from the article is the most effective for those of us with the short attention spans......

to be perfectly honest, most of the time I only skim an article that's posted.
Although i'm always quick to appologizing if I missed a point due to that if it's pointed out to me after I make an ill advised response.

I suggest removing trade blocks and contract extensions in the listing of New Posts. It is annoying when I click on with a thread with team logo next to it, only to have thread about something like bwitty wanting to re-sign Taylor Buchholz or Andy Sisco for the hundredth time.
It's likely not going to happen, but at least cut down on the number of trade blocks, people. So what if I didn't catch you on your 34 year old $9 million pitcher the first time?
