So this article says.
That would kick ass. We could actually SPEND money instead of CUT it.

He could buy five sports if he wanted. And still have money to give to the poor folk.

Don't act like the Braves are the Royals, you have a billionaire owner who used to spend a ton of money in the 90s but in recent years they have cut back a bit but it's not like you don't spend anything.Originally Posted by General

Reading the article closely, they only really talk about a merge between MSN & AOL. Microsoft gets dragged into the merger, because they own MSN. Only at the very end do they talk about a guy who MAY sell his part of the company to Gates. So, would Gates be the majority owner, probably not. If the merger does happen, and IF Gates does buy Parsons part of the company, then most likely expect Braves to get some more money to spend then the salary cuts they've been making as you say.
Like Bill Gates cares about sports, LOL.
Not gonna happen.
It sure is going to suck watching Francoeur & McCann spending their prime in pin stripes.
I think the organization will find enough cash to keep Francoeur. Not McCann or Davies or Lerew though.

I'm sure they will on McCann. They keep locals pretty easily. Look how quicky Hudson signed a deal.

I think he cares about sports more than you think. He's a competitive guy, and sports are pretty competitive. I remember couple years back of rumors of him buying an NFL team.Originally Posted by ATLien
