Don't act like the Braves are the Royals, you have a billionaire owner who used to spend a ton of money in the 90s but in recent years they have cut back a bit but it's not like you don't spend anything.
We're forced to cut payroll every year. Don't debate on subjects you have no knowledge on.

Reading the article closely, they only really talk about a merge between MSN & AOL. Microsoft gets dragged into the merger, because they own MSN. Only at the very end do they talk about a guy who MAY sell his part of the company to Gates. So, would Gates be the majority owner, probably not. If the merger does happen, and IF Gates does buy Parsons part of the company, then most likely expect Braves to get some more money to spend then the salary cuts they've been making as you say.

I think he cares about sports more than you think. He's a competitive guy, and sports are pretty competitive. I remember couple years back of rumors of him buying an NFL team.
