Tommy Hanson was pulled from an instructional league start after two innings Friday due to discomfort in his scapula.
The scapula is better known as the shoulder blade. This setback takes him out of the mix to start the regular season finale and presumably for the first round of the playoffs. The Braves are still hopeful that he'll be able to throw a side session in two days before making another instructional league start. It doesn't sound like he has been ruled out for the postseason, but the Braves obviously can't count on him.
