He has until the clock strikes midnight tomorrow night to accept arbitration. But why would he even want to? Seriously, would you want a team to be able to control where you go by trading you versus having a bit more say in free agency? And what about the money? He could stand to sign a multi-year type deal in free agency and secure long term money instead of making the arbitration amount and then having the chance of injury or a falloff of talent take away his possibilities.
Just doesn't make sense to me. Nonetheless, Jon Heyman has the twitter going on it.
