    This definitely came out of nowhere. Good deal for the Pirates in my opinion, because they sold McClouth at hit ultimate high value. Although it definitely has to be frustrating for their fans to know the team is still in rebuild mode. Will they ever come out of it?

    Hey, the pirates rebuild like CJ does. Sell off 26 year olds for unproven guys a few years younger. It's no wonder the pirates have maintained multiple decades of excellence.

    Since when was Charlie Morton an organizational top 10 prospect? Sure, the Pirates wanted to make room in center field for Andrew McCutchen, but that also could have been accomplished by moving McLouth to right field and benching Brandon Moss.

    Hernandez hasn't really done shit in the past 2 years while I have never been high on Morton. Don't know much about Locke.

    No, it's not basic algebra. If I offer you $25,000 for your Ferrari Testarossa and you decline, and I go to the Subaru dealership and offer them $25,000 for a Subaru Impreza and they accept, that doesn't mean that I value the Impreza as much as the Testarossa. That means that I wanted the Testarossa, but since I couldn't get it, I settled for something that I could.
