Top of the 9th
Kotchman: Taps one back to the pitcher. 1 out.
Schafer: Strikes out swinging. 2 outs.
Norton (PH for Lowe): Flies out to LF. 3 outs.
Gonzalez should be coming in to close out the game.

Gonzalez looks like he wants to grind up on some girl when he pitches.
That probably explains why he's trying to blow this 4 run lead.

Gonzalez did this crap last season to. Every pitch he throws it looks like he is overthrowing it. I haven't been pleased with Gonzalez since he came to Atlanta.

Howard just help Gonzalez by taking a pitch down the middle.

Bottom of the 9th
Bruntlett (PH for Lidge): Doubles to LF. 0 outs.
Rollins: Flies out to RF. Bruntlett to 3rd. 1 out.
Werth: Singles to LF. Bruntlett in to score. Still 1 out.
Utley: Walks. Runners on 1B & 2B. 1 out.
Howard: Strikes out looking. 2 outs.
Ibanez: Strikes out swinging. 3 outs.
Gonzalez needs to change things. He seems to always barely get through an inning. The only reason why he gets the save is because the batters help him out.

Braves win!
Mike Gonzalez owes Ryan Howard a thank you card.

He'll be fine, he just has to stay healthy (slim odds). I might have to take back my doubts on Lowe, then again, this was just one game so we'll see on that front. I am so glad that for now, Bobby Cox is going with Schafer vs. starting relative crap. It's worth the shot to see what he can do.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

What about the idea of not send Schafer to the wolves tonight and having him not in the 1 spot, like Cox wants him to be in. Good idea, or not?
It doesn't hurt to break him in with as little pressure as possible.

I agreed with that and it turned out to be a very good decision. I believe he will be leading off from here on out starting on Tuesday in Game 2. Johnson was 0-4 with 1 strikeout.
Jon Miller is pretty stuipd. Logan Schafer? I must of missed him in the game. It might be a good idea for him to look at retirement. He called him Logan twice and even worse Morgan or the other guy did not correct him and Miller didn't notice and Schafer just got up to the plate with his name and stats listed on the screen.

God, Mike Gonzalez blows.
