Braves re-signed infielder-outfielder Greg Norton to a one-year contract.
No terms yet, but Norton likely gets less than a million bucks after hitting .246/.361/.427 as a part-time player last season. He'll be used primarily off the bench.

Greg Norton's deal with the Braves is worth $800,000 and includes an additional $300,000 in bonuses.
Hopefully, he doesn't reach the bonuses, which are likely keyed to him getting semi-regular at-bats. Norton was one of the game's best pinch-hitters last season, but he'd be a weak choice in an expanded role.

He was alright from what I saw but when is the big free agent coming? Or are they just wishful thinking?
