Randy Winn, eh?

I saw an insider link on espn.com about the braves being interested in Winn. Winn is doing pretty well for the giants, but considering the number of injuries and that Brian Lawrence was recently signed and we're tossing out guys I've never heard of to pitch.. I'd be a little more concerned with trading for some arms. Nothing against Winn but I don't see that as the pressing need when we have lost Smoltz, Hampton, Glavine again, Jurrjens just came back, Soriano is always iffy, no Gonzalez, no Moylan and we're using Jo-Jo Reyes and some dude who started against the angels that I don't know of. It's not encouraging.

Again, nothing against Winn, he's putting up pretty solid numbers across the board.

Winn would be good but the Giants would like some bullpen help in return and I'm not seeing that from the Braves. I thought Gonzalez was back or at least close? Winn and Brad Hennessey for Teixeira, take it or leave it.
