John Smoltz played catch for the 2nd day in a row without any pain. This is obviously a great sign for Braves fans. He made 25 throws from 40 feet. He is planning to rest today and then tomorrow throw from 90 feet. His timetable right now is to return at the end of this month.

Well, he still has to get to a mound, but this is good news for him. If he's still gonna come back as a reliever, the Braves will have problems though
