The trading deadline is over, but deals can still be done.
One of those deals being talked about on ESPN is ATL sending Andruw Jones to BOS in exchange for C. Crisp, J. Lester, and a MiLB prospect.
Sounds irresponsible of ATL to me...

The deal was Lester, Hansen, and Crisp for Jones I beleive. The Sox passed because they were unwilling to send both Lester and Hansen.

It could still happen, with the right pieces.
I wouldn't send Jones for anyone.

It'll never happen now. 28 other teams should lineup to claim AJ, Lester or Hansen. 20 some should lineup to claim Crisp.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.
Even though the Braves getting Crisp, Hansen AND Lester for Jones would never happen. I think anyone would have to be dumb not to accept this deal from the Braves perspective, especially considering Jones will be a Free Agent after next season and has Scott Boras as an agent. Also, not to mention that the Braves are wanting to cut some of their payroll. I believe most likely he will no longer be a Brave if they don't trade him before the end of next season.I wouldn't send Jones for anyone.
"They asked me if I wanted the ball in Game 6, and I said yes. I'll always say yes. That's what I did with Jack McKeon. I told him, 'Let me see how I feel tomorrow.' I went out, did a long toss, came in and said, 'I'll pitch, I want it, I want to do it.' And it ended up working out." -Josh Beckett
I don't even know who Crisp, Hansen, and Lester ARE!
Are they supposed to be really good, or something?
Lester was usually a Top 25 pitching prospect preseason, Hansen often cracked the Top 50, and Crisp cost us a Top 10. (SP, RP, and OF)

Anything short of Lester and Hansen I won't even consider.

I'd be shockd if Jones clears waivers, it will be very difficult to move a player of that caliber after the non-waiver deadline.
I agree, yet the only thing that may scare teams from making a claim is his contract and the fact he will be a Free Agent after next season. So in essence only big market teams would make a claim or teams that could afford his contract. And we all know as soon as a claim was made, the Braves would pull him off of the waiver wire.I'd be shockd if Jones clears waivers, it will be very difficult to move a player of that caliber after the non-waiver deadline.
