Braves Hudson throws one-hit gem in Braves' win

Tim Hudson pitched a one-hit shutout Monday night against the Rockies. He walked three and struck out five in the 90-pitch outing.
It was the second career one-hitter for Hudson. The opposing starter, Jason Jennings, had the Rockies' lone hit, a single. Hudson retired the final 17 hitters he faced and lowered his ERA from 5.87 to 4.54. With two complete games in his last three starts, he's back looking like a borderline top-10 starter in NL-only leagues.

    90 pitches? THat's damn impressive.

Stopping the red hot Rockies is impressive the way Hudson had been throwing. Congrats!

About time Hudson started pitching like he's supposed to pitch. Hopefully, its a sign of things to come.

The pitcher got the hit? I mean, I think Jason Jennings is a good hitting pitcher, but ouch.

Considering how pitchers have been hitting this year, it figures.

Hudson isn't just on fire, he's scalding. Looks like Roger McDowell got through better then Leo Mazzone.

That's not what I was thinking at the beginning of the season.
