Wily Mo'fucking Pena

Wily Mo hit a walkoff HR to beat the Indians 6-4!! This was the third homerun Pena has hit since being called up. That's 3 HRs in as little as 25 ABs!! Pena hasn't played since 2008 when he hit 2 HRs in 206 PA. The most he has ever hit was 26 HRs in 2004 but I think its safe to say he won't reach that mark but he could reach the halfway mark. He definitely plays in the ballpark to do it in. Pena's a good story to watch and see if he can keep it up.

Diamondbacks designated OF Wily Mo Pena for assignment.
Pena slugged five home runs in 46 at-bats with the Diamondbacks but was let go Thursday due to his lack of defensive ability. He could draw interest elsewhere.

Its amazing how much that contract he signed with the Reds messed him up. He was never able to realize his talents because he was so rushed. Hopefully other foreign athletes take note of him. I still hope he can find a nice little career in the bigs, he had some big hits in his limited AB's!

I thought he signed that deal with the Yanks and why the Reds traded (I think) Henson back to the Yanks for?

Yeah, that was Drew Henson. I think Yankee fans were upset when the Yankees traded Henson for Denny Neagle and then they were pissed when the Yanks traded Pena for Henson back.
