So, I made the thread before about him going 10-0, and he drops that game, and now he's dropped 2 in a row. Sorry about that Webb and D-backs fans. Webb's line from today: 4.1 IP, 10 H, 7 R, 4 ER, 3 BB, 8 K, 1 HR. He got pretty much murdered today, the first time that's happened this season. He was decent in his first loss, but not in this one.
"I just wasn't sharp," Webb said. "Started off and everything they hit seemed to find holes. [I] wasn't working ahead and didn't have a real good fastball. My velocity was bad. I know I had a bunch of strikeouts, but it didn't seem like I could ever make the big pitch when I needed to."
He also got hit with a tough error by Mark Reynolds on a Jurrjens bunt which lead to 3 runs. He heard Chris Snyder yell "THREE" while throwing the ball, and it screwed him up and threw it wide. Webb struck out the next 2 guys before he walked Chipper to load the bases, and then Texieria hit a broken-bat single to right scoring 2.
