It's Facebook Friday (8/14), and I challenge you.

The first step, you have to join the S3F Facebook page, and you'll find that to the left of your screen

So if you have facebook, join, it's easy and doesn't require reading, mathematics, or liking the New York Yankees! It's that simple.


Now, once you have done that or have already done that, it's time to face the challenge. I challenge fans of our page to take a good look at their current "friends list". I know all of you have friends that dig the art of baseball like you. So why not invite them to the page? It's a great first step to promoting S3F.

I challenge you all to invite 5-10 friends who also like baseball to the S3F page. Perhaps it is then only a matter of time before they sign up here.

So what's the deal with the Facebook page? In addition to having access to the entire and always growing Che Stairs photo collection, you will be able to:

+Share photos of games you go to, S3F meetups, etc
+Comment on wall posts made if you are unable to get to the forums to share your thoughts on the latest trades, news, or anything else in baseball
+Get up to date info on critical site statuses, like new features or if the site is down for any period of time, like I shared to both Twitter and Facebook today for that hour or so of downtime
+Plus other special and FB exclusive things!

You don't have to add anyone from the forums as a friend if you aren't comfortable with that, or even reveal on FB who you are on S3F. But joining and sharing us will help S3F reach new people and hopefully find new members to join our community and the discussion here.

I sent invites to a few friends and a couple joined the FB page... i haven't seen the new site registrants to see if he joined

Continue to invite friends. The immediate goal is to try and boost the fan base of the S3F page and THEN, hopefully, it'll develop into folks signing up here as we go forth.
