Ever want to post a thread to two forums? Not only that but have that same thread be on both forums to ensure that all interested parties can see it and discuss it? Now you can with S3F Shared Threads, a feature developed exclusively for S3F.
If you create a series thread and want to share that discussion on the other team forum, go for it. When a trade goes down and you post it, you can share it with Hot off The Wire plus with the teams involved. Maybe a player talked smack about another player on another team.... you know what to do, share it. Sharing the discussion should lead to more useful forums, where the information you want is available no matter where you go.
In the baseball forums, you will see a new form under the thread title box, here using CTRL+select you can pick the forums you would like to share your discussion to. Let's walk through an example:
The Indians just traded Ryan Garko to the Giants, perfect. I want to post this info to the Hot off The Wire, Cleveland Indians and San Francisco Giants forums. (Make sure you do not have "None" accidentally selected.)
Once you post the thread, you should see where it is shared to. This lets others know where the discussion could be coming from.
If you now go to one of the forums where it is shared at, you will see a share icon indicating that this thread could be posted to another forum and that the discussion is shared.
Simple, huh? Enjoy.
