We Have Landed

Well, we are here, finally, about 36 hours since the shutdown. I apologize with how lengthy it was, but I figured it would be best to work on the site for a few more hours right now rather than to shut it down soon in the future to do more work (that still might happen, but it would be late and just for an hour or two.)

So what happened? I'll break it down before I collapse on my keyboard:

* The site was moved to our new database that I hope will house us for many years.
*The forum software has been updated to the latest version of vBulletin.
*A new layout is a work in progress right now. The first true overhauling of the S3F layout as previous years were just improving on the original look. This is brand new and I'll explain the logic behind it when I get a chance.
*New features have been added and several more are in the works, all significant ones will be explained by myself.

With that all in mind, keep these points in mind:
*The layout is still a work in progress. I know of many things that need to be corrected but right now I am prioritizing. I will add additional team styles in the future once I get the default layout as perfect as I can get it.
*There are some other incomplete projects, projects I started but had to stop midway to deal with whatever problem or crisis I was dealing with on another part of the forums. You might click on a link that doesn't go anywhere because I hadn't yet created the page for instance.
*Again, this is a work in progress. I needed to get the forums back online for you all so even though it is not complete and there are some little bugs leftover, in the end it is stable enough to begin posting while I catch up on some sleep and then work over the next week or two at getting everything else solved.
